Who are the Browning Bros.?
Brothers Nat and Archie Browning had an incredible vision to break away from the ordinary, and that’s exactly what they’ve achieved with Teybrook Orchard. Located on an organic family farm, of which Nat and Archie are the fifth generation, the brothers are proud of their family story, which is fuelled by a passion for bringing people back to nature.
Working with the farmland, Nat and Archie have created a serene paradise where visitors will experience a connection to the land, the seasons, and nature. Guests are invited to rest, relax and enjoy this beautiful corner of the English countryside which the Browning family are proud to call home.
What Can Guests Expect from the Browning Bros. Glamping Experience?
Teybrook Orchard is a wonderfully secluded spot, tucked away between acres of woodland and meadows. Nat and Archie chose their favourite spot on the entire site to host their glamping accommodation, which perfectly captures the magic of living it up outdoors.
This peaceful countryside location is a great place to bring children during the school holidays. With plenty of room to run around and explore – and perhaps even build a few dens of their own –you can let your little ones revel in the thrill of sleeping outside, whilst still enjoying the home comforts of real beds.
Our luxurious yurts are hand crafted and sleep between one and six people, with a double bed and up to four single mattresses each. To add to the unique adventure, each tent and yurt comes with its own BBQ grill, in addition to the communal indoor kitchen facilities. What could be better than cooking and eating outdoors on a fine spring evening, as the sun sets and the stars start to twinkle?
Explore the Browning Bros. Luxury Glamping Accommodation
Our luxury glamping site boasts four types of accommodation: yurts, bell tents, and two smaller abodes, the Grain Silo and Shepherd’s Hut.
The yurts and bell tents are perfect for family holidays, and come complete with a private barbeque grill, picnic tables, a double bed, luxury furnishings, bedding and towels. Extra blankets can be offered if needed, and there is a cosy heater provided in the marquee. Each yurt also features an impressive skylight, allowing guests to fall asleep to the sight of stars twinkling in the sky above them.
All bell tents are nestled among the trees and grassy green glades for a real woodland experience. Sleeping between one and five people, each tent features a double bedstead and up to three mattresses on the floor for additional guests, plus carpets, rugs and pillows to create a cosy, snug feel to the glamping experience.
The Grain Silo and Shepherd’s Hut both sleep one to two people, with the Grain Silo being tucked away in the woods at the back of the site for ultimate seclusion and serenity. These romantic abodes are perfect for dreamy couples’ getaways under the stars.
Fantastic Family Fun in Essex this Easter
Essex is an exciting hub of activity during the Easter holidays, so here’s a few recommendations of family-friendly activities to enjoy during your stay at Browning Bros.
Just a 30-minute drive from the Browning Bros. site is Chelmsford, where the whole family can take part in the Chelmsford Mystery Treasure Trail. The treasure map is full of tips and hints to help you hunt down clues which are hidden on statues, signposts, and landmarks – they’re craftily disguised so keep your peepers peeled! The route should take around one and a half hours to complete, which leaves plenty of time to see the other sights of Chelmsford too.
Chelmsford also boasts a fantastic nine-hole crazy golf course at West Park Pitch and Putt, and a uniquely creative chance to paint ceramics at Ceramics on the Hop.
Between Friday 24th March and Sunday 16th April, visitors to Markshall Estate in Colchester can take part in an egg-citing Easter Egg Trail. 20 wooden easter eggs lay hidden in the Arboretum, and there’s also a shorter, eight-egg-trail for really little ones. After you’ve completed the trail, you can pop into the Orchard Kitchen to indulge in some of your own delicious Easter treats and Easter egg hunts in the woodland.
