Step into Browning Bros. and immerse yourself in our passion for extraordinary outdoor experiences and exceptional glamping. Our journey began with the adventurous spirit of the Browning Brothers, Nat and Archie, who spent their formative years crafting hideouts and exploring the scenic landscapes of Tey Brook Farm. Today, their youthful enthusiasm and vision have transformed their childhood playground into two unique event venues and a collection of cosy cabins.
Our rural estate is a breathtaking backdrop for your next celebration, whether a wedding, team away day or family reunion. We’ve created two venues that make the most of our open spaces, lakes and woodland. Set on an organic family farm, Browning Bros. is now in its fifth generation and deeply committed to nature, heritage, and farm diversification.
Embracing the beauty of the English countryside, we curate unforgettable experiences and collaborate closely with local businesses to offer exceptional support in a charming rural setting.-

Nat
CO-FOUNDER, BIG BRO AND DIRECTOR
“Having been lucky enough to have had an amazing (and pretty feral) upbringing up on the farm, surrounded by wildlife and nature, I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to create this business and earn a living from the place I call home. Very proud…and sometimes amazed…. that we have achieved all this as brothers, and to have created a business that has allowed others to forge happy and lasting memories on our family farm”.
With a passion for the great outdoors, you’ll find Nat happiest sitting on a digger working on Archie’s next pipe dream or wild swimming in any river/coastline he can navigate his way to.

Archie
CO-FOUNDER, LIL BRO AND DIRECTOR
“Growing up here on the farm we spent our time building dens and tree houses and being so lucky there was never any reason to leave! So, it’s incredibly rewarding to be basically continuing what we have always done but sharing it with others and seeing how happy people are getting away from normal life and letting their hair down whether it be a glamping stay or as a guest at one of our weddings.”
Happiest on camper van adventures, walking, surfing, sculpting, and thinking up new business ideas!

Becky
HEAD OF EVENTS AND MARKETING AND DIRECTOR
Hostess with the mostess, Becky (wife to big bro Nat and sister-in-law to lil bro Archie) relishes nothing more than creating amazing and unique experiences/events and puts her heart into the finer details. If she’s not planning parties she’ll be found armed with a bucket of her homegrown flowers and a big smile on her face ready to decorate the next BB event.
Becky joined in 2020 to help support the brothers during COVID. With 20 years’ experience in the events industry, 6 of which were spent planning international corporate events, Becky has brought a whole new dynamic that has greatly helped the business evolve.

Gill
WEDDING & EVENTS MANAGER
Loves all things weddings and can often be seen crying during your wedding speeches! Gill joined in 2023, having already worked on a few events and falling in love with our beautiful venues and relaxed nature. She also loves our eco approach, being the queen of recycling!
Gill spends her time making sure your special day goes without a hitch. Gill brings 12 years of wedding and catering experience to our team, and it is her passion to look after couples on their wedding day. She loves her job, meeting couples and families and making your day a day to remember.

Meg
WEDDING & EVENTS MANAGER
Little sis to the Browning Bros., an organisational whizz with a passion for Ayurveda and yoga, there’s nothing more she loves than planning weddings and retreats (and attending them when she has time!). If she’s not whipping the team into shape, she’s whipping up a storm in the kitchen—she's a cooking fanatic!
Meg joined in 2021 as an Events Manager with 10 years of experience in the event industry, including involvement in the Royal Wedding in 2018. While pursuing a new path in craniosacral therapy, Meg still carves out time to be on hand for our amazing couples and clients.

Sarah
CABINS MANAGER
Sarah joined Browning Bros in 2018 after spying the tipis through the trees while doing the school run. Intrigued, she set out to find out more about Chalkney Water Meadows, and after a meeting, we welcomed her aboard the Browning family.
Conjurer of all things cabins, she'll answer your enquiries about staying at our hideaways and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. When she gets a chance, she loves a weekend break somewhere quirky with her family, and even then she is taking in ideas to bring back to the business to make your stay with us even more special.

Gab
PRODUCTION MANAGER AND HEAD OF MAINTENANCE
An epic guitarist, cocktail maker, deadly longbow archer, and, it is even said…a majestic ice skater! The man with many hidden talents! With a wealth of experience teaching bushcraft skills to children in the outdoor education sector, there isn’t much this talented man can’t turn his hand to.
Responsible for the never-ending repairs and maintenance required across the business, along with new building projects and just about everything else on the ground, if he isn’t busy for Bbros, Gab will otherwise be found working on his and Nell’s beautiful camper conversion!

Nell
PRODUCTION AND BAR MANAGER
You’ll most likely find Nell managing an awesome bar team and serving delicious drinks from the Elm bar at Chalkney. The Elm bar top, that is such a feature at Chalkney, fell in the 1987 storms and has been lovingly restored by Nell to the beautiful and impressive bar top you see today.
Super strong, compassionately creative and electrifyingly quick at slinging up bell tents. Nell is another with a whole heap of talents that she brings to Browning Bros. If not busy creating something beautiful for the business, Nell is happiest in her garden and on long walks with her sidekick and beautiful dog Anara.
