Part Time Events Manager Role at Browning Bros. 2026

Looking for an Events Manager to join small family run team at Browning Bros. to help oversee the weddings and corporate events at Tey Brook Orchard and Chalkney Water

Meadows outdoor venues from start to finish.

• Sales enquiries. Promptly responding to enquiries and managing communications with potential and existing customers. 

• Planning and strategy. Define event objectives, target audience, themes, timelines and detailed proposals. 

• Budget management. Develop and track budgets, create and send invoices, ensure financial targets are met. 

• Viewings. Showing couples and other prospective clients around the two sites, explaining how the venue works, answering questions and providing information. 

• Supplier management. Research, negotiate with and hire suppliers for corporate events. 

• Logistics. Coordinate venue setup for all events. 

• Marketing and promotion. Work with marketing team to promote events and manage promotional activities.

• On-site management and execution. Oversee event day operations, troubleshoot issues, manage staff and ensure smooth flow. 

• Health and safety. Ensure compliance with legal, insurance, and health & safety regulations.

• Post event evaluation. Evaluate event success, gather feedback, produce reports, and manage dismantling/cleanup.

• Primarily office-based for admin (can work from home and in BB farm office) with travel to the venues for on-site management. Must do at least 1 day in the office with team. 

• Involves weekends during event periods (April-October) 

• Part-time with an hourly rate 

• Needs to be reasonably local to the venues (White Colne and Great Tey, Essex)
