Tey Brook Orchard and Chalkney Water Meadows are set on a fifth-generation, family-run organic farm in rural Essex, just an hour outside of London. Hidden among ancient woodland and meadows, they offer a unique setting for rural gatherings that are rich in soul and low in stress.

Want to bring your own caterer? No problem. Fancy a low-key weekend with swims and supper? We can make it happen. Planning a 50th birthday party with 100 guests, a DJ, a fire pit and a pizza truck? We’ll help you plan it.

Our venues

Both venues are solar-powered and designed to minimise environmental impact. We use locally sourced materials and manage our woodland sustainably for firewood and construction.

Chalkney Water Meadows

From cosy cabins to charming bell tents, Browning Bros. offers versatile accommodation options across our two venues. Whether you’re planning a corporate retreat, a wedding, or a private event, we provide spaces to relax, connect, and recharge in the beauty of the great outdoors.

We offer three beautiful cabins at Chalkney Water Meadows, a mix of accommodation options at Teybrook and Nomadic tents at both sites, all furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, a table and two chairs, full bedding, and bath towels. Some tents have a basic power supply, while others include battery lanterns for a cosy, off-grid vibe. Both sites have proper toilets and showers for glamping guests, and their own camp kitchen.
