PAYMENTS
Full pre payment is required to secure your booking. We only accept payment via our online booking system or via BACS.
** COVID POLICY*
If you are unable to attend, due to government restrictions, as as result of COVID19, we will reschedule your booking at no additional cost. If you choose to cancel at this stage, we will refund your booking less a £25 admin fee.
CANCELLATION
Once you have made full payment, your booking is complete, and you have entered into a legally binding contract. Ordinarily your booking is non refundable and non transferable, but we will always endeavour to be as flexible as we can for exceptional circumstances (please see COVID policy above). In order to cover unforseen cicumstamnces, we would strongly recommend that you take our cancellation insurance to cover any spent cost should you have to cancel for any reason outside your control.
In the unlikely event that Browning Bros. have to evacuate the site (due to inclement weather for example) or cancel the camping for any reason outside our control we shall offer a full refund or credit against a future stay.
Browning Bros. is not liable for any consequential loss that may be incurred by the guest due to these circumstances. Browning Bros. are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
REFUNDS
In the event of leaving early (for any reason), NO REFUNDS will be given. Your booking is a legally binding contract and in the event of cancellation or curtailment no refund will be given. This also applies to weather conditions, if you choose to cancel your booking due to weather, a refund will not be offered.
PETS & DOGS
Pets are allowed with prior approval. There is a £30 charge p/pet p/stay. Pets are allowed in the tents at your own risk but please ensure they are clean before they enter. You will be responsible for any damage or mess that may be caused by them.
DAMAGES OR BREAKAGES
Any damage to site facilities or to our accommodation, including when our tents are left in an unsatisfactory state, will incur additional charges.. This also includes any noise disturbance so please ensure noise levels are kept to a sensible level. Any items left behind must be claimed within two weeks of departure. If relevant, postage and packing charges for the return of goods will apply. Please notify us of any damage or mess to the tent or its contents before your departure. Guests are NOT permitted to remove any items from our dwellings. Please ensure you leave your accommodation in a clean and tidy state.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
We do not accept bookings from unaccompanied adults aged 18 or under.
CAMP FIRES
Are only permitted in designated areas. There is one communal firepit and each dwelling has its own small firepit. Please DO NOT make fires anywhere else on the site. Any fires found outside of the designated areas will incur a charge. Only timber supplied by us can be used. You are NOT permitted to use branches, debris, or other items you may see around the farmstead. All timber and similar flammable materials are the property of the owners. Please ensure you use your firepit safely.
BBQ
Fire pits and grills are provided. If any disposable BBQs are used, they must be kept off the grass and disposed of as directed by our staff.
NOISE
Please consider other guests onsite as well as our neighbours and keep noise to respectful level.
PA R K I N G
There is free parking next to the site. No vehicles to be driven onto the site.
WASTE & RUBBISH
Wipes, sanitary waste, nappies, cloths etc MUST NOT be flushed down the toilets. Bins are provided – please make sure you use them. These items must be wrapped and put in the bin provided. Please empty any liquid waste into designated drain. Refuse area situated by the kitchen. Please do not drop litter. Please respect the site and treat our facilities with care.
Please make use of the recycling facilities provided. We have recycling bins for glass & general waste. Please note that our general waste is collected by CSH Environmental who have a state-of-the-art recycling centre where all your general waste is sorted and recycled. THE OWNERS OF THE SITE
Are absolved of all liability for accidents, loss or damage to guests’ personal property. We reserve the right to ask guests not observing the conditions to leave the site without refunds and with immediate effect.
SAFETY
The following are not permitted inside of our tents: gas appliances of any kind, fires, BBQs or smoking. Naked flames are used in/by our tents only when occupied, and are used at your own risk. Please ensure your children do not climb trees in the woodland around the site. Children must be accompanied when using the toilet block facilities. Please be aware of where your children are and what they are doing at all times. Please ensure your children are accompanied when passing the stream, and if feeding the ducks. Please do not allow your children to play around this area.
BRITISH WEATHER
Camping in Britain can mean unpredictable weather. Whilst we supply certain facilities and equipment, it is still camping and you are responsible for your own well being and comfort regarding appropriate clothing and footwear etc. Be aware the tents are cotton canvas and in prolonged and heavy rain the tents may leak. Please keep windows and doors to the tents closed during rainfall to avoid water getting in. Browning Bros. cannot be held responsible for poor weather conditions during your stay.
