The wild table returns may 2026

Two seasons. Two sold-out feasts. The same magic every time.

This year we’ve welcomed guests into the woods for two unforgettable editions of The Wild Table with The Laundry and Browning Bros. Each has been a celebration of fire-led cooking, seasonal ingredients, and the simple joy of dining together beneath the trees at Teybrook Orchard. The connection and atmosphere have been unlike anything else — and we can’t wait to do it all again.

The Wild Table will return in May 2026, opening a new series of woodland feasts. Expect bold flavours, dishes shaped by the land around us, and evenings that move from forest walks to candlelit tables, fires, wine and conversation. With glamping available on site, your bed will be just a short walk away when the fire dies down.

As always, the menu will be guided by the season and built around local producers, brought to life over open flames.

Meet The Laundry

The Laundry is a Brixton-based bistro and wine shop led by New Zealand-born chef and sommelier Melanie Brown. Known for its ingredient-led dishes, seasonal cooking, and relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant has become a South London favourite for good reason.

Mel brings years of experience in both kitchens and wine cellars, with a background that spans high-end hospitality and a deep knowledge of food provenance. Her food is big on flavour, low on fuss, and always rooted in what’s fresh, local, and best in season.

For this event, she’s stepping away from the pass and cooking over fire in the woods. You’ll taste the same passion and precision you’d find at her Brixton restaurant - just with a few more trees and a lot more stars.
