Our two unique wedding venues are nestled in the heart of the enchanted Essex countryside. Chalkney Water Meadows, our lovely lakeside venue, can accommodate up to 200 guests; whereas Teybrook Orchard, sandwiched between an orchard and a woodland, welcomes up to 120 guests. Both venues offer a total blank canvas, allowing you to plan the wedding of your dreams…
Say “I Do” at Chalkney Water Meadows
Chalkney Water Meadows is hidden away amongst ancient woodland, perched on the edge of a picturesque river and tree-lined lake. Proving popular with larger parties who need a bit more space, the venue comfortable seats up to 150 guests but a few more is also an option! Enjoy exclusive use of the venue for the whole weekend, with overnight accommodation so guests don’t have to faff about with taxis.
The mystical lake at Chalkney Water Meadows truly sets the scene, creating a magical atmosphere for the big day ahead. Say “I do” on the lakeside pontoon, before heading to the tremendous triple tipi for the reception, dinner, and dancing. As the day draws to an end, settle down in the most luxurious glamping accommodation with your nearest and dearest guests, or head to one of two lakeside cabins and let the sparks fly.
Tie the Knot at Teybrook Orchard
Teybrook Orchard is our intimate and secluded woodland venue, hidden away from the world. Ideal for slightly smaller weddings, the venue welcomes parties of up to 120 guests to celebrate in the beautiful lined marquee. Teybrook Orchard is available to hire for the whole weekend, with onsite accommodation provided for up to 40 guests, and additional glamping options.
Tucked away between 20 acres of ancient woodland and a picturesque apple orchard, Teybrook Orchard is a truly magical, fairy-tale like outdoor venue. Exchange rings beneath the trees, before partying the night away with your friends and family in the large, sheltered marquee. At the end of the night, snuggle down in one of 10 quirky glamping dwellings, and wake up to the blissful sounds of birdsong and nature.

Looking Back on Our 2022 Open Day
Ahead of our 2022 wedding season, we hosted an extra special open day on Sunday 10th April. The sun shone all day, and a fantastic time was had by all! Over 150 people from London, Essex, Cambridge, Kent, and Sussex visited our two wedding venues, with many booking their special day with us for 2023 and 2024.
We invited some special suppliers to join us on the day, including:
Evo Event Hire (equipment and games hire)
Mollie Moo’s (ice cream truck)
Perfect Day (catering)
English Spirit Gin (bar drinks and wedding favours)
Flowers by Cosmos (local, seasonal florist)
Shook Cocktails (hamper suppliers)

Each supplier had their own stand and setup, offering freebies to all the couples. As well as the supplier freebies, each couple was given a branded goodie bag containing honey pots (made here on the farm), English Spirit Gin, a tipi-shaped cookie (made here on the farm), a festival band, and other sweet treats.
