Finding the meadow

  • Search “Chalkney Water Meadows” in Google Maps for the direct entrance.

  • On arrival: Drive through the main gate, follow the track, and veer left into the meadow car park.

  • Final leg: The glamping village is a short 100m walk from the reception area.

find your pitch

Glamping: Follow the signs from the car park to the glamping area. Your bell tent will be labeled with the name sent to you via email.

Pitch-your-own/campers: Please set up in the meadow space next to the giant hat tipis.

Access: Ensure you leave a clear access way for suppliers when setting up.

Parking policy: After unloading, all cars must be moved back to the car park. Please do not leave vehicles in the meadow.

What’s included in Your TENT?

    • A double bed with mattress and floor matting (and then up to three single low level mattresses to sleep up to five guests)

    • Full bedding, bed linen & bath towels

    • Power supply for phone charging (USB port) *Please note, the switch will either be on your bedside table or down beside the bed*

    • Lighting

    • Table & two chairs

    • Hanging clothes rail

    • Mirror for “glampifying”

    • Feature all of the above, except they are slightly smaller and don’t have a power supply.

    • Only big enough for a double bed. These tents do not have a power supply for phone charging.

    • Sockets can be found in the getting-ready tent. Battery-powered lanterns are provided for lighting.

    • If the main 20 glamping tents are fully booked, we can put up additional bell tents in the meadow (behind the tipis, a short walk from the other tents) especially for you.

    • Please note, these tents are more basic in that they don’t have electricity but rather lanterns for lighting and don’t have a bed stead, rather mattresses on the floor.

    • The tents are the same price as the main glamping village, as even though they are less glamorous, there is more work involved setting them up for you at this wedding/event.

    • Included: Mattresses on the floor, full bedding, bed linen & bath towels, lanterns for light, mirror for “glampifying”.
